ChromeFree cowhide is soft and lightweight. Sourced from farms located in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process that does not use chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids.
By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited. Water consumption is reduced by around 40% and salt consumption by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.
