ChromeFree leather is soft and lightweight. Originating from farms in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process, without the use of chromium, heavy metals or dangerous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals, energy, water usage is reduced by approximately 40% and salt usage by 80%. After tanning, the water is recycled.
