The O.T. leather undergoes a mechanical beating process that makes it thin and flexible. Tanned in Brazil, it uses fewer dyes than conventional leather. VEJA obtains O.T. leather from the Uruguayan Pampa, a region known for the quality of its leather and livestock. The cattle from which O.T. leather is obtained do not come from deforested areas and are not exposed to pesticides, GMOs, chemical fertilizers or antibiotics.
